(More customer reviews)I was a bit skeptical of the "adaptive" claims when I originally bought this unit. However, I have completely changed my mind since actually hearing the device. The response is really impressive! I don't hear traffic noise out my window anymore. This device really does a very good job of making REALISTIC adaptations. When a police car runs by with the sirens blaring, it responds quickly to cover it up. However, most changes appear much more gradual and natural. It's very easy to get lost in the sound. Almost everyone who sees it wants to tap on the table next to it to make it respond. I always get at least one "That's cool!" when they do.I had a couple of questions about the unit when I first got it, so I emailed customer support at ASTI. I received a very detailed response to my question in only a few hours.They were great to deal with.How refreshing!

Ecotones has three operating modes:
