I originally thought the sounds were designed to promote delta sleep, etc. I did not realize the sounds were fan, airplane (think Cessna or twin engine, not 747), country road, vacuum, night train, and AC. The card was very difficult to insert into the Sound Oasis unit and actually damaged the port, but I was able to repair it. It is nice to have the sound card in order to have a greater variety of sounds to choose from.
I purchased 2 different cards, the other was Tropical Rain Forest. The sounds on the Rain Forest card do not match with their description, so I think I may have ended up with a mislabeled card. None the less, I was able to find a nice soothing sound that works for both me and my husband.
Overall, I think the cards are good choice if you like to have a larger variety of sounds to choose from. I gave it 3 stars bacause of the difficulty with insertion and the damaging of the unit.
