(More customer reviews)I am the victim of many permanent hair removal scams and I am also a recipient of professionally applied laser, and diathermy hair removal so I consider myself a bit of a veteran. Of all the DIY permanent hair removal systems I believe this one is the only one that I would ever recommend. The similarities of this method are very similar to diathermy (which is the only permanent hair removal method with FDA approval). The sensation is very similar, not quite as intense, the trade off is that it lasts longer. The little sores that are left after the treatment are exactly the same and take the same time to heal. The exact same tweezing technique is used, and the hair regrowth rate appears to be about the same as well. Unfortunately there is a chance of scarring if you aren't careful so read the instructions carefully and stick to them. It can be very tedious. My recommendation would be to get the area done professionally by diathermy and then use this to maintain it. The tweezers, whilst looking very professional are a bit hard to operate so spend a bit of money on a good set that are easier to use.My final advice; invest in some tea-tree oil antiseptic cream. It makes an amazing difference to the healing time and is very soothing as well.
