(More customer reviews)I'm a barefoot babe and flip-flop freak with no time to primp.My occassional moments in the shower with my pumice stone and rarely remembering lotion wasn't keeping my tootsies in tip top condition, so I declared war!My first salvo was daily devotion to the pumice stone.I really couldn't tell that it was doing much at all.Next strategy: getting some special socks with a liner that allowed you to apply special creams to the heel area.These got groady quick, and they were weird feeling, cold and squishy when you walked around, but I wore them -- not much improvement, so I stopped using them.Then I decided that the secret was dedication, so every morning at work, I'd apply the cream and stay put until the cream absored-- not very hard to do, since I spend 80% of my day at the computer anyway.Still, not much improvement.If I skipped a couple days, like over the weekend, it seemed I was back to square one.
I added the Artemis Woman Heel Smoother to my wish list before Christmas, and yet was a little leary to use it.Using the pumice stone in the shower sometimes made my heels sensitive (yet didn't remove the callous) so I was concerned that I'd get skin sensitivity.
I was amazed!My feet were immediately in so much better condition.I use it dry and then apply moisturizer. I wish I had gotten this much sooner!
