(More customer reviews)I have been a practicing chiropractor for 24 years and this unit was a total mistake. Very difficult to understand owners manual but worse is how it felt when applied to treatment area. I have used and owned four different IF machines and this was unacceptable and returned for PARTIAL refund. LOOK ELSEWHERE, NOT recommended

Product Description:
Interferential current (IFC) Interferential current is essentially a deeper form of TENS. In essence, IFC modulates a high frequency (4000 Hz) carrier waveform with the same signal produced by a TENS unit. The high frequency carrier waveform penetrates the skin more deeply than a regular TENS unit, with less user discomfort for a given level of stimulation. Deep in the tissues, the carrier waveform is cancelled out,{{Fact}] resulting in a TENS-like signal deep under the skin.[citation needed]Anecdotal evidence suggests that the IFC units may be useful for patients who have not had relief from TENS. However, IFC devices tend to be more expensive than TENS units.Interferential Specifications:Pulse intensity: Adjustable 0-70mA peak into 500 ohm load each channel, constant currentCarrier Frequency: 4000Hz Fixed (CH1 and CH3)Modulating Frequency: 4004-4160Hz Adjustable (CH2 and CH4)Modes: Constant Mode: 4-160bps, Adjustable; Auto Sweep: 80-145 bps, 4-45 bps, 4-Set bps; Frequency Shift: 1/1 abruptly shift, 6/6 abruptly shift, 6/6 ramped, 10/10 abruptly shift, 10/10 rampedSweep Time: 15 secondsFrequency Shift Percentage: Frequency shifts from 30% below set frequency to 60% above and return to 30% below set.Interference Pulse Freq: 4-160 bps, Adjustable 4/bps/stepPulse Duration 125us maximumWave Form: Symmetrical balanced Sine waveEMS Muscle Stimulator Specifications:3 Modes: Synchronous, Constant, AlternationPulse Amplitude: Adjustable 0-100mA peak into 500 ohm load each channel, constant currentPulse Rate: 1Hz-160Hz (adjustable) 1Hz/stepPulse Width: 300us fixedWave Form: Asymmetrical Bi-Phasic Square PulseTimer: 15,30,45,60 minute or selectableOn Ramp: Adjustable 1-8 seconds, 1sec/stepCycle On Time: Adjustable 1-30 seconds, 1sec/stepCycle Off Time: Adjustable 1-30 seconds, 1sec/step
